Bio

I'm a compulsive archivist (a polite way of encompassing all manner of insane packrattery), a shameless book glutton, a lover of toys, a PK (preacher's kid), a feminist, and a christianist-loathing Christian who constantly battles the urge to hunt down judgmental, loudmouthed, aggressively ignorant, recto-crainially inverted dickweeds and punch them all in the face. Yeah, my capacity for suffering fools has been steadily draining away for decades.

Work-wise, I'm a freelance editor and a manager in a major research library. I've worked in museums for nearly all of my professional life, although I've also done a couple-few interestingly timed years in the fetid maw of Wall Street (financial editing--fear it), spooking the Masters of the Universe with my Mere Presence. All of which has put several fine points on my cynicism.
